Environmental Sustainability Grant (up to $3,000)

Whitehorse City Council is committed to working in partnership with the community to encourage, develop and support a wide range of local recreational, cultural, social and community initiatives that make a positive contribution to the health and wellbeing of the Whitehorse community.

Whitehorse City Council provides ongoing annual funding to support the community. Council is committed to providing this funding efficiently, equitably and ethically.

Council offers funding to organisations that meet the assessment and eligibility criteria set out in the Whitehorse Community Grants Guidelines.

Applications will open 24 February 2025 and close 6 April 2025.

You will need to agree to the General Conditions and confirm your eligibility as detailed in the Guidelines before you can proceed with the application.  Please ensure you save as you go.

Completion of an application and its acceptance by Council does not guarantee that funding will be provided.

  • Strengthen the Whitehorse community through support of a diverse range of activities, services and programs that are responsive to community needs.
  • Create a resilient community that embraces the history and diversity of Whitehorse, promotes learning, growing and thriving, as well as being safe, healthy and inclusive.
  • Build the capacity of local organisations and strengthen partnerships within the Whitehorse community to support planned growth, collaboration and sustainability.
  • Enhance the health and wellbeing of the Whitehorse community.
