Overview

Whitehorse City Council is committed to working in partnership with the community to encourage and support services and programs that make a positive contribution to the health, wellbeing and social cohesion of the Whitehorse community. This includes a focus on addressing the needs of vulnerable cohorts within our community.

The Social and Wellbeing Grant allow funding for not-for-profit organisations or incorporated associations to develop longer term social and wellbeing outcomes that directly benefit the most vulnerable members of our local Whitehorse community. These organisations and/or associations must be located in or operate within Whitehorse City Council. The funded service or program must take place exclusively within Whitehorse City Council and directly benefit our most vulnerable members of our local community.

Council offers funding to organisations that meet the assessment and eligibility criteria set out in the Whitehorse Community Grants Policy.

Priority will be given to organisations with a proven track record in the provision of quality services and/or programs in the City of Whitehorse.

Applications will open 11 August 2025 and close 10:00AM on Monday 22 September 2025.

You will need to agree to the General Conditions and confirm your eligibility as detailed in the Policy before you can proceed with the application.  Please ensure you save as you go.
